Partnerships and Community Collaborations The East Orange YMCA has long been viewed as a leader in the community. The East Orange YMCA has served in numerous capacities in the community in its continuing effort to build a stronger community. The YMCA is a collaborative partner with the East Orange Board of Education in providing the Abbott Preschool Program. The YMCA is honored to play an integral role in this partnership and assist in providing such a valuable service to the community. The Unique Schools Opportunity Program provides employment for High School students at the East Orange YMCA. The First Occupational Center of New Jersey and Easter Seals uses our facility for special programs. The Seniors of The Retirement Club of Orange uses our pool for weekly Senior Water Aerobic Classes and our gymnasium for aerobics every Tuesday and Thursday.
